Whitelabel Branding in FeedPlay (Agency Access): Step-by-Step Guide
With Whitelabel Branding, you can customize the FeedPlay dashboard and domain so that your clients see your branding instead of FeedPlay’s. Follow the steps below to configure your agency settings, set up a custom domain, and manage users under your own brand.
1. Enable Agency Access
In the top-right corner of your FeedPlay dashboard, click “Access as Agency.”

Once in Agency Mode, navigate to “Settings” to view and configure your whitelabel options.

2. Overview of Agency Settings
In the Agency Settings, you’ll find five tabs:
- General
- Email Setup
- Domain Setup
- Customize
- Security
We’ll look at each of these sections in detail.

3. General Tab
- Dashboard Name & Description: Give your whitelabeled platform a unique name and brief description.
- Custom Logo & Favicon: Upload your own images to replace the default FeedPlay branding.
- Support Email & Support URL: These details will be visible to clients, so they can reach out to you for help.
- Training URL: If you have documentation or tutorials for your clients, put that link here.
- Enable/Disable Plan Information: Decide whether you want users to see details about their current plan.
- Allow FeedPlay Support: Choose whether FeedPlay can provide direct support to your clients.
- Click “Apply” or “Save Changes” when done.

4. Email Setup Tab
- Name & Email Address: Enter the sender’s name and email that will appear in onboarding emails.
- FeedPlay URL Slug: This is the link your users will click to access their accounts. It can be overwritten by your agency domain if you connect one later.
- External Agency Custom Domain: If you plan to use a custom domain for your agency, enter it here starting with
https://
.- Example:
https://youragencydomain.com
- (Recommended to use a primary domain instead of a subdomain for better performance.)
- Example:
- Save Changes.
Note: You’ll need to point your custom domain to FeedPlay’s IP address to fully activate the whitelabel.

5. Domain Setup: Pointing Your Domain to FeedPlay
- Copy the IP address from your FeedPlay dashboard.
- Log in to your domain registrar or hosting provider (e.g., Cloudflare).
- Add Your Domain:
- In Cloudflare, click “Add a Site/Domain.”
- Enter your domain name.
- Choose a Free Plan if desired.

- Click continue.

- Click on the Free Plan tab.

- Change the DNS record by clicking on “Continue to activation”

- Copy the DNS records to your domain registrar to change them.
- After the change, you can click the “Continue” button

- Check the status periodically if setup correctly within 30 minutes it should resolve okay.

Create DNS Records:
- Under DNS settings in Cloudflare, add an A record for the root domain (or subdomain):
- Type: A
- Name:
@
(for root domain) or the subdomain (e.g.,portal
) - IPv4 Address: Paste FeedPlay’s IP
- Create a wildcard A record:
- Name:
*
- IPv4 Address: Same FeedPlay IP
- Name:
- Save each record.
Add the root record first, and the wildcard next.

Add wildcard record ( Type = A, Name = * and IPv4 address = add FeedPlay IP)

How the 2 records should look after adding @ and wildcard records

Important: It can take up to 48 hours for DNS changes to propagate. During this time, the SSL certificate and whitelabeled domain might not be immediately active.
6. Customize Tab
- Adjust your landing page colors, logos, and layout to match your brand.
- Add any custom code (e.g., Google Analytics, chat widgets) to further personalize the experience.

7. Manage Users (Clients)
Once your whitelabeled domain is set up:
- Go to “Users” if you want to onboard a new user or client.
- Assign usage limits to the new users.
- An onboarding email will be sent from your configured address with a link to your whitelabeled platform.
Tip: For more details on adding and managing users, refer to the “Client/User Guide” linked in your FeedPlay dashboard.

8. Test Landing Page
By the way this is how the agency dashboard landing page we setup earlier looks.
